Blue ribbon apple bread

Ingredients

3 | cups | Butter Or Margarine |
1¼ | cup | Sugar |
4 | Eggs | |
1½ | cup | Canned Apple Sauce |
¼ | cup | Milk |
4 | cups | Flour; sifted |
2 | teaspoons | Baking Powder |
2 | teaspoons | Baking Soda |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | tablespoon | Grated Lemon Rind; 1\" thick |
1 | cup | Chopped Nuts Pecan |
½ | cup | Chopped Raisins |
½ | cup | Chopped Dates |
Directions
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a tme. Stir in apple sauce and milk. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to apple sauce mixture and mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until bread tests done. Cool on rack for 10 minutes. Remove bread from pan and cool.
