2 | cups | Milk |
2 | cups | Half & Half |
1 | each | Onion slice |
2 | eaches | Celery ribs |
1 | teaspoon | Parsley |
1 | each | Bay leaf |
⅓ | cup | Butter, melted |
1½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Pepper, freshly ground |
1 | dash | Tabasco |
Directions
Scald milk and half & half with onion, celery, parsley and bay leaf. Strain. In a large saucepan, stir together melted butter, flour, and seasonings. Slowly stir in milk.
