Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
Pastry for two pies cut in
Rounds
Chop:
1 cup Raisins (small as possible)
Peel of one lemon
Mix:
Raisins, lemon
Juice of lemon
1 tablespoon Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg yolk (whole egg too
Liquid) unbeaten
1 pinch Salt

Directions

Blend raisin mixture. Put small amount on each round. Fold over and press edges with fork. (Might use egg white to moisten edges) Bake as pie 375 - 400. Tip: Cover cookie sheet with foil for easy clean up.

This recipe came from Graham Kerr when he was a young whipper-snapper on TV in Canada. I remember taking it down during his program.

I have made them, and they were really good.
