Buffy's walla walla sweet onion rings

Ingredients

1 | large | Egg |
1 | Bottle beer | |
1¾ | cup | Flour |
1½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
6 | mediums | Onions |
Directions
Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. Mix beer and egg. Add dry ingredients gently to the beer-egg mixture. Stir to blend. Slice onions ¼ inch thick and separate into rings. Dip onion rings in batter. Fry 2 to 3 minutes in hot oil. Drain. Keep warm in a 250f degree oven.
