Baked walla walla onions

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 mediums Onions, sweet
2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
4 tablespoons Apricot preserves
½ teaspoon Salt
1 pinch Cayenne pepper

Directions

SAUCE

Cut onions in half lengthwise. Rub with olive oil. Bakeat 400 degrees 40 minutes to 1 hour. Remove to serving dish. Sauce: Mix together and boil until well combined. Pour over onions. Serve warm or at room temp.
