California quiche

Ingredients

6 | slices | Bacon, crisply cooked -- |
Crumbled | ||
1 | pack | (8 oz) Jack cheese -- |
Grated | ||
1 | can | (4 oz) Ortega Diced Green |
Chiles | ||
1½ | cup | Light cream |
4 | Eggs | |
1 | medium | Onion -- quartered |
Directions
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and chiles onto bottom of pie crust. Put cream, eggs and onion into blender; blend for about 10 seconds (or mince onion and mix with beaten eggs and cream). Pour cream mixture into pie shell. Bake in preheated oven (350 degree) for 30-40 minutes, or until top is golden brown and quiche is set. Remove from oven and allow to set for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with hot garlic bread, crisp green salad, and don't forget the wine. Perfect for a brunch. Quiche can also be serve cold in small slices as an appetizer. Garnish with strips of Ortega Pimientos for extra flavor and color.
