Caramel pear pudding cake

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Flour
cup Sugar
teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Salt
dash Cloves
½ cup Milk
4 Pears; peeled and cut into 1/2\" pieces or 16 oz can, drained and chopped
½ cup Pecans; chopped
cup Brown sugar
¼ cup Margarine; room temperature
¾ cup Boiling water
Ice cream or whipped topping

Directions

Preheat oven to 375. In large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and cloves. Add milk and beat until smooth. Stir in pears and pecans. Turn into an ungreased 2 qt casserole. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and water.
