Ingredients

1 cup Sauterne or sherry
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
4 tablespoons Butter
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Freshly ground pepper
1 teaspoon Seasoning salt
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 tablespoon Chopped parsley1
1 Chicken cut into parts.
Flour
Mushrooms (opt)
Pearl onions (opt)
Artichoke hearts (opt)

Directions

Combine all but chicken, vegetables and flour. Heat until butter is melted. Pour over chicken and marinate at least 4 hrs. Bake, uncovered in 350 F. oven for 1 to 1½ hrs. One half hr. before serving sprinkle lightly with flour and baste with the sauce. Add whole mushrooms (be sure to baste them too, or they will be dry).

Serve with wild rice and remaining sauce from the baking.
