Chocolate buttermilk icing

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Margarine
3 tablespoons Cocoa
cup Water
2 tablespoons Buttermilk Powder
cup Powdered Sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Nuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

Combine margarine, cocoa and water in a saucepan and heat until margarine and cocoa are melted. Stir in buttermilk powder and bring to a rapid boil. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts (if desired). Stir until consistency is smooth.

Spread frosting on slightly warm cake or brownies.
