Corn chip, chili and cheese casserole

2 tablespoons Margarine
1 pounds Ground beef
1 pack Chili seasoning mix (up to 1-1/4)
1 cup Shredded cheese
2 cups Coarsely crumbled corn chips
1 medium Onion
2 cans (8oz) tomato sauce

Directions

One more that I make came out of a recipe book called WOMEN'S CIRCLE HOME COOKING I got this recipe out of one that I got in May, 1984.

Melt marg. in skillet and brown beef and onion. Stir in chile seasoning mix, tomato sauce and 1 cup water. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Lightly grease 1½ - 2 quart casserole. Layer ½ chili mixture, corn chips and cheese. Repeat layers. Bake 20 minutes in a 350 oven. Really good.
