Date pudding cake (bon appetit/july 1983)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 Eggs
1 cup Sugar
¼ cup AP flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
cup Chopped dates
1 cup Chopped nuts
Vanilla ice cream or
Whipped cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9 x 9" baking pan. Beat eggs in large bowl until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar, beating until thick. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Mix in dates and nuts.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake about 30 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
