4 cups Sugar
1 cup Dates (chopped)
1 cup Milk
2 tablespoons Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
½ cup Nuts (chopped)

Directions

Mix sugar, dates, milk and butter; boil until a soft ball is formed when dropped into cold water. Add vanilla and nuts. Beat until mixture begins to thicken; pour into greased pan. Yield: 2 pounds.
