Ddmmom's bread and butter pickles

Ingredients

3 pounds Trimmed cucumbers,3 qts --
Sliced 1 mm
½ pounds Green peppers, 2 cups --
Sliced 1 mm
1 pounds Onions, 1 qt -- sliced 1 mm
(Total about 4 qts)
3 tablespoons Salt -- about

Directions

Sprinkle all with salt. Allow to sit for 1 hour. Rinse and drain well.

Bring to full boil: 6 cups cider vinegar 6 cups sugar 2 sticks cinnamon 1 T turmeric (maybe less) 4 t mustard seed 1 T salt Add vegetables to boiling liquid and return to boil. Cook 1-2 minutes.

Place in pint jars and process 10 minutes at simmer.
