Dinah shore's trifle

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Apricot preserves
¼ cup Cherry-flavored Liqueur
1 Box (small) Vanilla pudding, prepare
1 Layer Fudge Cake, halve
1 can Cherries; pit, (15 ounces) drain
1 cup Whipped cream
½ cup Almonds, toast

Directions

Mix jam with liqueur. Spread jam on cake sides. Put together and cut in 2" squares. Put ½ of custard on bottom of bowl. Top with ½ of cake. Press.

Top with cherries, more custard, more cake, mash, more cherries. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle almonds on top.
