Double orange cake-mix

Ingredients

2 cups Bake it all mix
2 Eggs
cup Buttermilk or sour milk*
½ cup Sugar
cup Orange peel -- ground**
½ cup Raisins -- chopped
½ teaspoon Baking soda
cup Orange juice
¼ cup Sugar

Directions

* To make sour milk, place 2 teaspoons vinegar in measuring cup and fill to ⅔ cup mark with milk. **Or finely chopped. Break eggs into a bowl; beat well. Stir in buttermilk, ½ cup sugar, orange peel and raisins. Add Mix and soda.

Beat well. Pour into an 8 by 8 by 2-inch pan, bottom rubbed with shortening. Bake in a 350 F. oven about 30 minutes. Combine orange juice and ¼ cup sugar, stirring to dissolve sugar. Pour over hot cake. Cool. Yield: One 8-inch square cake Recipe By :
