Ingredients

¾ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Cracked pepper |
1 | tablespoon | Brown sugar |
1 | Garlic clove; crushed | |
2 | tablespoons | Soy sauce |
1 | tablespoon | Worchestershire sauce |
1 | pounds | Lean meat; thinly sliced |
Directions
In a small bowl, combine all ignredients except meat. Stir to mix well. Place the meat slices in a single layer on a clean flat surface. Generously spread both sides with the slat mixture. Place the meat strips on a tightly covered glass, stoneware, plastic or stainless steel container. Marinate 6-12 hours in the refrigerator, stirring occasionally and keeping the mixture tightly covered. follow directions for drying and storing.
Makes ¼ lb. jerky.
