Emperor's pears

16 | ounces | Pear halves in light syrup, (1 can) drained |
Vegetable cooking spray | ||
1 | teaspoon | Margarine |
¼ | cup | Chinese plum sauce |
2 | tablespoons | Orange marmalade |
Directions
Sprinkle pepper over cut sides of pear halves; set aside.
Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; melt margarine in skillet over medium heat. Arrange pear halves, cut sides down, in skillet; cook 5 minutes or until golden.
Add plum sauce and marmalade; cook 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring gently to coat pears. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 2 pear halves).
