24 | Very fresh ice cream wafers (up to 26) | |
1 | can | (small) condensed milk |
4 | ounces | Castor sugar |
2 | tablespoons | Golden syrup |
3 | teaspoons | Smooth peanut butter |
1 | Swiss (7 x 11 inches) roll tin, strip lined with foil | |

An unusual idea, easily made but do make sure the wafers are absolutely fresh. Recipe makes 16.
Cadbury's Spring Recipe Collection, Melt chocolate with 250g (1oz) of the butter then spread half over the foil. Press on 12 wafers, trimming to fit.
Stir the remaining butter, condensed milk, sugar and syrup in a pan over gentle heat until completely dissolved then boil for 3 minutes, still stirring. Off heat, beat in peanut butter until smooth then spread mixture evenly in the tin. Place wafers on top. Spread with remaining chocolate and set. Later, cut into 8 squares then into triangles.
