French market almond torte

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
8 tablespoons Butter or pareve margarine
1 cup Light brown sugar
½ teaspoon Almond extract or flavor
1 Egg
5 tablespoons Flour
½ cup Pecans, chopped
½ cup Almonds, chopped
1 cup Heavy whipped cream

Directions

Cream butter and sugar; add almond flavor, egg and flour. Blend well and add nuts. Shape ino roll, wrap in foil, and place in freezer.

When ready to serve, thaw abt. 30 min.. Slice 1" thick and top with whipped cream. Decorate with slivered almonds or additional chopped pecans.
