Fresh squash and onion

Ingredients

2 | pounds | Squash; yellow |
1 | medium | Onion; finely chopped |
½ | teaspoon | Salt; |
dash | Sugar;* | |
½ | cup | Water |
2 | tablespoons | Butter (or marg.); melted |
Directions
* Use your favorite sugar substitute Wash squash and cut into 1-½" slices. Place in saucepan with onion, salt, and sugar; add ½ cup water.
Cover tightly and steam about 10 minutes. Add butter and stir gently. Food Exchange per serving: 1 vegetable exchange, (make it work) NO'S NOTE: This would be excellent way to fix squash for the diabetic. All so I would cut down on the margarine.
