Fresh-squeezed lemonade

Ingredients

3 cups Water
¾ cup Sugar
1 cup Fresh lemon juice; chilled (6 lemons)
Lemon wedges; (optional)

Directions

Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil, and cook 1 minute.

Remove from heat; let cool. Pour sugar mixture into a pitcher; chill.

Add lemon juice to sugar mixture; stir well. Yield: 1 quart (serving size: 1 cup). - - - - - ~ - - - - - - - - - - - - Serving Ideas : Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon wedges, if desired.
