Frozen fig pudding

Ingredients

2 | cups | Milk |
3 | Egg yolks; beaten | |
1 | pack | Gelatin, unflavored |
¼ | cup | Cream |
⅓ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | cup | Sugar |
¼ | pounds | Figs, dried; chopped |
¼ | pounds | Walnuts; chopped |
½ | cup | Orange juice |
1 | tablespoon | Vanilla extract |
Directions
Scald milk and add to beaten egg yolks. Sprinkle gelatin in cream; let stand for 5 minutes. Add egg mixture to disolved gelatin mixture. Add salt, sugar, figs, walnuts, orange juice, and vanilla.
Stir well; pour into freezer tray. Put in freezer. Stir once or twice during freezing process.
