Frozen fig pudding

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Milk
3 Egg yolks; beaten
1 pack Gelatin, unflavored
¼ cup Cream
teaspoon Salt
1 cup Sugar
¼ pounds Figs, dried; chopped
¼ pounds Walnuts; chopped
½ cup Orange juice
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract

Directions

Scald milk and add to beaten egg yolks. Sprinkle gelatin in cream; let stand for 5 minutes. Add egg mixture to disolved gelatin mixture. Add salt, sugar, figs, walnuts, orange juice, and vanilla.

Stir well; pour into freezer tray. Put in freezer. Stir once or twice during freezing process.
