Gado-gado

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Chopped onion
2 mediums Cloves crushed garlic
1 cup Peanut butter
1 tablespoon Honey
¼ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
Juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon To 2 ts freshly-grated ginger root
1 Bay leaf
1 Tablespoons cider vinegar
3 cups Water
½ To 1 tsp salt
1 dash Of dark soy sauce

Directions

In a saucepan, cook the onions, garlic, bay leaf and ginger in a little butter. When onion becomes translucent add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Simmer on lowest possible heat 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
