Grilled chicken with tandoori spices

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Broiler-fryer Chicken, cut
Into 8 pieces
¾ cup Plain Yogurt
1 tablespoon Lime Juice
1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
1 large Garlic Clove, minced
teaspoon Ginger, minced
½ teaspoon Salt or to taste
½ teaspoon Ground Cumin
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Ground Coriander
¼ teaspoon Tumeric
¼ teaspoon Cardamon
dash Ground Nutmeg

Directions

Wash and dry the chicken pieces and place them in a glass or ceramic bowl. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour the marinade over the chicken. Let marinate for 6 hours. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill the pieces about 4 to 6 inches from the coals for about 30 to 45 minutes or until all pieces have cooked through. Turn chicken occasionally during the grilling process.
