2 pounds Tomatoes; halved
1 large Portobello mushroom
1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
1 teaspoon Salt; divided
1 pounds Sweet Italian sausages; (pricked with fork)
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1 teaspoon Minced garlic
¼ teaspoon Thyme
¼ teaspoon Freshly ground pepper
1 pounds Rigatoni or corkscrews; cooked according to

Directions

1. Heat grill. 2. Brush tomatoes and mushroom with vegetable oil and season with ½ teaspoon salt. Grill over medium-hot heat until tender, 5 to 10 minutes for tomatoes and 8 to 12 minutes for mushroom, turning once. Grill sausages 15 to 20 minutes, turning once. 3. Chop tomatoes; slice sausages and mushroom; transfer to large bowl. Stir in olive oil, garlic, remaining ½ teaspoon salt, thyme and pepper. Toss with hot rigatoni. Makes 6 servings.
