Mayonnaise | ||
Red onion; thinly sliced and broken apart | ||
Sharp Cheddar cheese; grated |
Directions
On a slice of toasted bread, spread a generous portion of mayonnaise, then cover with a layer of onion and top with a generous amount of grated cheese. Place in a cold oven, turn on broiler and cook until cheese bubbles and browns slightly on top. Eat with a knife and fork. Yield: 1 sandwich.
