Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 quart Lima beans, fresh or canned
1 quart Chopped string beans
2 quarts Shredded cabbage
2 quarts Small onions, chopped
2 quarts Chopped green tomatoes
2 pounds Brown sugar
1 gallon Vinegar
1 quart Green corn
2 quarts Small cucumbers, sliced
3 bunches Celery, diced
6 larges Carrots, chopped
1 Dozen green peppers, chopped
1 Red pepper, chopped
3 teaspoons Mustard seed
3 teaspoons Celery seed

Directions

Cook vegetables separately until tender in water to cover. Combine.

Add sugar, vinegar, celery seed, and mustard seed. Mix thoroughly and heat to boiling. Mrs. D.E. Leonard, Bath, MI.
