Holiday highland dressing

Ingredients

2 | cups | Quaker Oats, uncooked (quick or old-fashioned) |
4 | cups | Dry bread cubes |
½ | cup | Butter or margarine; melted |
1 | medium | Onion; grated |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
¼ | teaspoon | Poultry seasoning (optional) |
¼ | teaspoon | Sage (optional) |
2 | tablespoons | Water |
Directions
Place oats and bread cubes in large bowl. Combine remaining ingredients. Add to oats mixture; toss gently to mix.
Stuff lightly into body cavity and neck region of turkey. Roast according to standard roasting directions. For one 10 to 12-lb.
turkey.
