FILLING
Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in the butter. Stir in milk with a fork.
Turn dough onto a floured board and knead for 15 to 20 seconds. Roll out dough into an oblong about ¼ inch thick. Mix together filling ingredients and spread over the dough. Roll up jelly roll fashion. Cut into ¾ inch slices and place 2½ inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 16 to 20 pinwheels. Serve with coffee for breakfast, with soup for lunch or dinner or on their own as a light snack.
