Honey-lavender biscotti

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup All-purpose flour; unbleached
1 teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Baking soda
¼ teaspoon Salt
cup Sugar
½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
3 tablespoons Strong honey
2 tablespoons Minced zest from 1 orange
1 tablespoon Dried lavender blossoms; optional

Directions

1. Sift first 4 ingredients together in a small bowl.

2. Whisk sugar and eggs in a large bowl to a lightly lemon color; sitr in next 3 (or 4) ingredients. Sift dry ingredients over egg mixture, then fold in until dough is just combined.

3. Follow steps 3 and 4 in Lemon-Anise Biscotti recipe.
