Honey-lavender biscotti

Ingredients

2¼ | cup | All-purpose flour; unbleached |
1 | teaspoon | Baking powder |
½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
⅔ | cup | Sugar |
½ | teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
3 | tablespoons | Strong honey |
2 | tablespoons | Minced zest from 1 orange |
1 | tablespoon | Dried lavender blossoms; optional |
Directions
1. Sift first 4 ingredients together in a small bowl.
2. Whisk sugar and eggs in a large bowl to a lightly lemon color; sitr in next 3 (or 4) ingredients. Sift dry ingredients over egg mixture, then fold in until dough is just combined.
