Kartoffel torte (potato cake)

2 cups Sifted sugar
1 cup Butter
4 Well-beaten eggs
⅔ cup Sweet milk
2 cups Flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
½ cup Cocoa
1 cup Mashed potatoes
1 cup Nuts
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions

Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs. Sift dry ingredients together 3 times and add alternately with the milk. Add potatoes, nuts, and vanilla. Beat well, and bake in a greased and floured loaf pan for 1 hour at 325ø F.
