Kartoffel pfann kuchen

1 | Baking potato; 5\" to 6\" in length | |
1 | medium | Onion |
1 | Egg | |
1 | tablespoon | Water |
¼ | cup | Oatmeal; (raw) |
Directions
For each 2 big eaters use above amounts.
Grate the potato using the fine Cuisinart grater, if possible. Grate the onion along with the potato. Combine the potato and onion with the onion, egg, water, and oatmeal. Let rest while making apple sauce or seasoning commercial (improve commercial with 1 teaspoon vanilla, cinnamon, lemon juice).
Heat a griddle or heavy frying pan. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons olive oil. Make pancakes with about 2 tablespoons potato mixture. Spread out thinly and cook until browned on both sides. Serve with applesauce. Some people eat potato pancakes with sour cream.
