Kielbasa and meatballs in beer

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
pounds Ground beef
½ cup Bread crumbs
1 medium Onion, chopped fine
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Pinch of garlic powder
2 pounds Kielbasa, cut in 1/4 inch
Slices
16 ounces Beer
1 large Bottle of ketchup
3 Peppers, diced
3 Onions, diced
½ cup Water

Directions

Mix beer, ketchup, 3 peppers, 3 onions and water in a large pan; add sliced Kielbasa and simmer for 1 hour. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder. Shape into balls. Drop into Kielbasa mixture and simmer another hour. Skim off grease and serve or let cool and reheat slowly before serving.
