Lemon crackers

Ingredients

cup Sugar
1 cup Shortening
2 tablespoons Bakers ammonia
1 teaspoon Oil of lemon
2 eaches Eggs
2 tablespoons Milk; new
1 pint Milk; new
Flour

Directions

Soak ammonia over night in pint of milk. Beat eggs seperately and ad 2 T. milk to yolks. Mix dough stiff and roll thin. Prick well with fork and bake.
