Lentil barley soup

¾ cup Lentils
¾ cup Barley
1 Onion; chopped
1 can (15oz) tomatoes and juice; chopped up a bit
1 can (15oz) tomato sauce
Dried parsley
Oregano
Garlic powder
1 can (15oz) vegetable broth
1 Frozen; (10 oz) chopped spinach, unthawed
Some chopped carrots

Directions

i threw it all in a pot and simmered, covered for 45 minutes. that left it a bit crunchy. i like my veggies crunchy, but if you like mooshier carrots, cook it longer.
