Mama irina's heart soup

Ingredients

4 eaches Beef marrow bones
pounds Stew meat
1 each Head of cabbage chopped
1 each Onion chopped
3 eaches Carrots sliced 1/4\" thick
3 tablespoons Barley
1 cup Stewed tomatos chopped
2 teaspoons Red pepper flakes
1 each Garlic clove minced
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Black pepper
1 tablespoon Maggi sauce
2 eaches Potatos diced
1 teaspoon Cider vinegar
½ cup Beets chopped
1 quart Water
1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce*

Directions

* Optional ingredient Put the water into a large, heavy pot and bring to a slow boil. Add the Maggi sauce, salt, black pepper, vinegar, onions, marrow bones, and barley. Cook for 10 minutes then add the stew meat, cabbage, carrots, beets, tomatos, potatos, red pepper flakes, and garlic. Cover and cook on a lower heat for 1 hour.
