6 Servings
Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
1 | quart | Fresh strawberries |
¼ | cup | Granulated sugar |
¼ | cup | Red wine vinegar |
Directions
Wash strawberries, hull and cut in half if small to medium, quarters if they're large. Place in large bowl and sprinkle with sugar and vinegar; toss well. Let rest at room temperature for at least 10 minutes before serving.
Spoon into attractive dessert dishes and serve. Makes 6 servings. Notes: If you can't find good red wine vinegar, try balsamic vinegar from Italy for a delightful change. This dessert can also be spooned over cake or cheesecake. Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin.msn@...
