Maryland black pepper cookies~

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 Eggs -- separated
1 cup Brown sugar
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Ground cloves
¼ teaspoon Black pepper
¼ teaspoon Baking soda
¼ teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Raisins & nuts

Directions

Beat eggs whites and yellows seperately. Then beat together. Add sugar & mix well. Sift dry ingredients & add to eggs. Stir in raisins and nuts. Add more flour if needed. The dough should be stiff. Drop by tbsp onto greased sheet. Bake at 375 for about 7 mins.

Makes about 5 doz.
