Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 C.flour
1 Tsp.orange flavoring
1 cup Oil
Rind of 1 orange
1 cup Soft butter
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
½ cup Powdered sugar
½ teaspoon Cloves
1 Jigger brandy
2 teaspoons Baking powder
Bring to a boil to make syrup:
1 cup Honey
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Water

Directions

chopped nuts

Combine all ingredients and work with hands until easy to handle.

Make into small eggs; flatten on 1 side and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Dip into hot syrup for a minute. Then sprinkle with nuts and let stand 24 hours.
