Mrs fields chocolate chip/pecan cookies

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Butter
5 cups Oatmeal
3 cups Chopped nuts
2 cups Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
2 cups Brown sugar
2 teaspoons Baking powder
4 Eggs
2 teaspoons Baking soda
2 teaspoons Vanilla
24 ounces Chocolate chips
4 cups Flour
8 ounces Hersey bar; grated

Directions

Measure oatmeal, then put small amounts at a time in a blender, and blend to a fine powder. Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla.

Mix together flour, blended oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda; mix into creamed mixture. Add chocolate chips, grated chocolate and nuts; mix. Make golf ball-size cookies, and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 10 minutes. Cookies should be soft in the middle when taken out of the oven.
