Mrs sewell's christmas tea

Ingredients

2 | Dozen cloves | |
1 | quart | Water |
2 | cups | Orange juice; fresh |
1 | cup | Lemon juice; fresh |
3 | cups | Sugar |
3 | tablespoons | Tea; loose |
Directions
Boil 2 doz cloves in 1 qt water-let stand 1 hour.
Prepare 2 cups fresh orange juice, 1 cup lemon juice,(or juice from 8 large lemons) 3 cups sugar.
3 tablespoons of loose tea (to make 1 qt) in 1 qt water Combine above, add 2 qts water, heat and serve.
Makes approx. 4 qts.
NOTES : Principal at Normandy Village 1974, She always brought this to the faculty Christams Parties. It can be made in a crock pot.
