No-salt spaghetti sauce

2 Med Onions, chopped
1 teaspoon (or less) olive oil or PAM
2 Cloves minced garlic
4 8 oz cans no-salt tomatoes
2 6 oz cans no-salt tom paste
1 cup Red wine
1 cup Water
2 teaspoons Dried oregano leaves
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Sugar

Directions

In a deep saucepan, cook onion in oil or PAM until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 2 to 3 hours. Taste after 1½ hours and adjust seasoning. Sauteed mushrooms are a great addition.
