Oven barbecued spareribs

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 To 5 lbs Spareribs
¼ cup Brown sugar
3 tablespoons Cornstarch
1 teaspoon Salt
½ cup Ketchup
¼ cup Vinegar
13½ ounce Can Crushed pineapple
1 tablespoon Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Chopped fresh ginger

Directions

Combine all ingredients (except ribs) and cook until thickened. Pour over browned, drained ribs. Cover; bake 1 hour or until tender.

Serves 6.

(I usually par boil the ribs and then bake them with the sauce in a slow oven for several hours.)
