Pasta/tuna salad nicoise

¼ | cup | Fresh basil leaves; chopped |
2 | Cloves garlic; minced | |
¼ | teaspoon | Red pepper flakes; crushed |
2 | cups | Cooked shell pasta; drained |
6 | ounces | Albacore tuna; water-packed, drained and flaked |
¾ | cup | Tomato; diced |
½ | medium | Avocado; diced |
¼ | cup | Red onion; thinly sliced |
2 | tablespoons | Black olives; chopped |
4 | Green leaf lettuce leaves |
Directions
In a small bowl, combine dressing, basil, garlic, and red pepper flakes; set aside. In a large bowl, combine pasta, tuna, tomato, avocado, red onion, and olives. Add dressing and toss.
