½ cup Granulated sugar
½ cup Packed brown sugar
½ cup Peanut butter
¼ cup Shortening
¼ cup Margarine; softened
1 Egg
1¼ cup Flour
¾ teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt

Mix first 6 ingredients together. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and chill in frig for 2 to 3 hours. Heat oven 375. Make dough into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork to make criss cross pattern.
