Peas and snowpea soup

½ | cup | Snow peas cleaned and whole |
1 | small | Onion grated |
1 | Clovette garlic | |
1 | Bayleaf | |
3 | Pepper corns; (3 to 4) | |
2 | Cloves | |
1 | teaspoon | Butter |
Green chilli sauce to taste | ||
½ | teaspoon | Plain flour |
Salt to taste | ||
2 | cups | Water |
Directions
Put the shelled, boiled, peas, flour, water in a blender. Blend till smooth.
Heat butter in a saucepan, add onion and snowpeas. Stirfry till tender.
Add blended peas, salt and allow to boil, stirring continuously.
Tie the garlic, bayleaf, clove, pepercorns, in a tiny pouch of a piece of muslin.
Add to the soup and boil for 15 minutes, adding more water if required.
Add chillisauce as per taste.
Serve piping hot with warm buns and butter.
