Penne, bacon and basil

2 | Cloves garlic; crushed | |
6 | Rashers bacon; chopped | |
2 | tablespoons | Chopped fresh basil |
60 | grams | Chopped walnuts |
Freshly ground black pepper; to taste | ||
Parmesan cheese |
Directions
1. Cook penne in boiling water in a large saucepan following packet directions. Drain, set aside and keep warm.
2. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Cook garlic over a medium heat for 1 minute. Add bacon and cook for 2 to 3 minutes longer or until bacon is crispy. Add basil, walnuts and penne to pan, season to taste with black pepper and toss to combine. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
