Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Cake of Fleishmans Yeast
¼ cup Warm water
½ pounds Margarine
½ cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Salt
4 Eggs
4 cups Sifted flour
FILLING:
1 pounds Pecans or Walnuts
2 Eggs
cup Sugar
1 pounds Butter or margarine

Directions

Cream until light and fluffy.⅒ cake of Fleishmans yeast disolved in ¼ cup of warm water, ½ Pound Butter (Oleo), and ½ cup of sugar.

Add 2 teaspoons salt, 4 eggs to the yeast mixture.

Stir in 4 cups of sifted flour, beating until smooth. Turn out on pastry cloth and knead until smooth.

Filling:

Chopped or ground Walnuts or pecans, eggs, sugar, and butter or margarine.

Put in pan and place on burner and heat and stir until well blended.

Roll out dough fairly thin. Spread filling evenly. Roll up and put it in a circle on baking sheet. Let raise 10 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes then 250 degrees. Brush with butter after cooked.
