Ingredients

¾ | pounds | Ground pork |
¼ | cup | Minced scallions |
5 | cups | Chopped cabbage (American or Chinese) |
1 | teaspoon | Finely minced ginger |
1 | tablespoon | White wine |
1 | each | Egg, beaten |
1 | teaspoon | Pepper |
2 | tablespoons | Soy sauce |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | each | Tlbs seasame oil |
Directions
Dumpling Wrapper or won ton wrappers cut into rounds Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with your fingers. Chill before using. Place 1-½ tsps fulling in the center of each wrapper, fold into half moon shape and pinch edges together. You can freeze them at this point (you will have a lot of them). Put them on a cookie sheet and freeze until solid then put them in freezer bags.
Do not defrost before cooking, just cook them a little longer. To cook: 1. Drop into boiling water and cook until they float to the surface. or 2. Put 1 tblsp oil into a frying pan. Brown bottoms (about 2 minutes) add ½ cup chicken stock, cover and cook until chicken stock evaporates about 5 minutes. Remove lid and cook a few more minutes. heat through.
