Praline chicken

1 | tablespoon | Creole seasoning |
6 | Skinned and boneless chicken breast halves | |
¼ | cup | Butter, melted |
1 | tablespoon | Vegetable oil |
⅓ | cup | Maple syrup |
2 | tablespoons | Brown sugar |
1 | cup | Chopped pecans, toasted |
Directions
Sprinkle Creole seasoning on both sides of the chicken. Cook chicken in butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until done. Remove chicken, reserving drippings in skillet. Place chicken on a serving platter; ste aside and keep warm. Add maple syrup and sugar to drippings in skillet; bring to a boil. Stir in pecans and cook 1 minute or until throughly heated. Spoon pecan mixture over chicken.
